Dictionary system for translation (tradic)

The tradic project is to make tools or frameworks of a collaborative dictionary system used for translating documentations and/or localization (i10n) of the software products, especially focused on opensource softwares.

This project aims to build a system that has the following features:

• You can have your own dictionary database for your project(s).
• Extensible format of the database.
• Collaboration support to maintain the dictionary.
• Version control and authorization (with authentication, of course), as needed.
• You can download the dictionary, so you can search it faster.
• You can search the dictionary with your favorite tools, such as sdic/emacs, pdic, eclipse and/or web browser.
• We will provide the tools to update or edit the dictionary.

Most documents are available only in Japanese. So if you are interested in this project but has no ability of using Japanese, post any comments or questions on the tradic-dev mailing list in English. We are pleased to reply you.
